Accommodation Support Programs

We Can Community Services is committed to providing quality accommodation options for people with disabilities.

house Our Organisation invites each individual and their family to visit one of our homes to ensure that the type of accommodation option meets their needs.  Individuals and their families are invited to discuss all aspects of support and living arrangements to ensure  the person will be compatible with their house mates, and that the individual will be happy in their new home.

We Can Community Services Organisation’s policy is to provide modern, comfortable and secure homes that are located within the community. Four bedroom homes provide support to a maximum of three individuals. The belief is that this type of option maximises the potential to be part of the community, not just living in it.
Individuals are supported and encouraged to participate in all daily living activities within their home. They are further encouraged to invite friends and family over to visit on a regular basis for afternoon tea, dinners, and social events.

Non Funded Support

Our Organisation offers opportunities for individuals to participate in various recreational activities, socialise and meet new friends Monday to Friday 9am – 4pm at our centre located in Midland.

This service is also provided during school holidays, and is very popular with families.train trip

The activities offered are based upon individual’s interests, skills and abilities. People participating in these activities are encouraged to express their creativity and to take home their artwork when they have completed.

The individual program plan identifies the client’s needs in areas of social interaction, skills development, independence, communication, community access and inclusion.

This ensures the individual receives all relevant information required enabling them to fulfil their individual choices and preferences.
